K13

Our main training two-seater is the K13. We have three of these, and we use them for all pre-solo training.

They are extremely robust, extremely docile, extremely stable aircraft, which can nevertheless be persuaded to do all the exercises, such as stalling and spinning, which are part of every student's training.

K21

We use a K21 for further training, including cross-country training.

The K21 is a good cross-country aircraft, so it is often used for solo and shared flying, as well as for training.

K8

The aircraft that we use for early solo pilots is a K8.

This has similar handling characteristics to the K13s, and so is a natural progression to single-seater flying. It is also popular among all solo pilots because it performs very well in weak weather conditions.

K18

A popular single-seater is the K18.

This has much better cross-country performance than the K8.

SZD Junior

The SZD Junior is a more modern aircraft.

It has much the same performance as the K18.
